Each teaching team has a designated team leader and to facilitate a successful adjustment to life and teaching in China, ELIC ensures that each teaching team will be visited on site by a Personnel Adviser at least once per semester. These Personnel Adviser also act as liaisons between ELIC teachers and school administrators. ELIC’s goal in providing this type of supervision has been to enable teachers to concentrate their attention on teaching and the needs of their students, and to also give each host institution assistance in fully managing the presence of its foreign teachers. |
